The Whitestone-Krebs Team
George Lemm
George Lemm and Eldon Krebs began their ranching partnership known as Whitestone Krebs in 1985. George and Eldon became acquainted with one another in the early 80’s when George Lemm began to acquire top Angus genetics, from Eldon Krebs, for use in his Aldie, VA, based Whitestone Farms. Over the next few years, the friendship between George and Eldon grew, and in the fall of 1985, George acquired ½ interest in the entire Krebs Ranch cowherd that Eldon and Louisa had built in Gordon, NE, giving birth to the partnership known today, 27 years later, as Whitestone Krebs. The lasting partnership between George and Eldon has owned many of the breed’s top semen selling herd sires and has built a productive and respected cowherd responsible for numerous Denver champions.
Eldon and Louisa Krebs
Eldon and Louisa Krebs own and operate Whitestone Krebs. Having spent their entire lives in the beef cattle industry, they now focus on breeding elite Angus cattle in the WK program. Eldon was raised on a commercial ranch in Neligh, NE, and attended the University of Nebraska. From there, he began working on some of the nations most elite purebred operations including Bob-Lee Shorthorns in Ohio and Ken Caryl Angus in Colorado. In 1979, Eldon and Louisa put down roots in Gordon, NE, and established, what is today known as, Whitestone Krebs. Eldon manages and directs all employees and ranch activities on a daily basis while Louisa supervises the Whitestone Krebs office.

Ty & Sage Krebs
Ty Krebs, son of Eldon and Louisa, grew up on the ranch and then attended Oklahoma State University where he majored in Animal Science. Ty has a broad range of skills and experience in all segments of ranching, but devotes most of his time overseeing the haying, irrigation, construction, and trucking operations for WK. In addition, Ty helps prepare the WK bulls for competition at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO. and for our annual bull sale in March. But Ty’s favorite job by far is raising the next generation of Krebs men, his son Sage! Ty’s diversity and work ethic make him a true asset to the ranch!

A fixture that’s as familiar to Whitestone Krebs as our own logo, is our good friend and trusted employee, Jack Dahlgren. Jack is a native of the Sandhills who was raised in nearby Merriman, NE, and has been with the ranch since we first moved to the Sandhills. Jack works with John Delaney during calving season as the WK night watchman, and spends his summers constructing and maintaining the fences at WK and on other area ranches. It isn’t hard to recognize a fence built by Jack, they are straight as a string, and all have Jack’s trademark blue gates and handles. Thanks Jack for all your contributions, and for keeping us all smiling!
Patti Novak
Patti Novak heads up accounting for Whitestone Krebs. In addition to greeting customers who call or stop by the office, Patti is in charge of billing and shipping of semen for the WK. She is the helpful voice you hear at the other end of the phone when ordering semen or certificates. From time to time, Patti also travels with the WK to trade shows and other cattle functions to promote the ranch herd sires. Thank you Patti, for everything you do at Whitestone Krebs!
