Chosen as the top-selling lot in the 1998 Whitestone-Krebs Chosen Few Sale, Gunsmoke went on to be named Winter Bull Calf Champion at the 1999 National Western Stock Show, and then named Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the North American Livestock Show, Louisville, KY, in only his second ring appearance.

Massively thick, with tremendous depth of rib, and squareness of rump, Gunsmoke has imparted his extraordinary muscular structure into his first calf crop. His calves have been standouts wherever they have been born.

Semen had been closed on this popular young sire, and was opened for sale in January 2000. Due to his untimely death, there is only a limited semen bank.
